Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the AML SCREEN mobile application (Google Play package com.trustgate.app) and the AML SCREEN web application. AML SCREEN is published on Google Play and owned and operated by Post media advertising (the "Developer", "we", "the Service"), contactable at privacy@amlscreen.tech.

AML SCREEN provides sanctions screening, name intelligence, risk scoring and adverse-media indicators for compliance professionals. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

Account data: your name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), role and subscription plan.
Screening data: the names and attributes you submit for screening (e.g. full name, Arabic name, nationality, date of birth, country) and the resulting matches, risk scores and history.
Device data: a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and platform type, used solely to deliver notifications.
Billing data: subscription status and invoices. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
Technical logs: request metadata (IP address, timestamps) for security and audit.

2. How we use it

To perform sanctions/watchlist screening and return risk indicators.
To authenticate you and enforce your plan's usage limits.
To send service notifications you have enabled.
To process subscriptions and produce invoices.
To maintain security and an audit trail.

3. Third parties

We share the minimum necessary data with: Stripe (payments), Google Firebase (push delivery), and public sanctions data sources (OFAC, UN, UK, EU, UAE) which are queried for matching. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data retention

Account and screening records are retained for as long as your account is active and as required for legal/audit purposes. Push tokens are removed on logout or account deletion.

5. Account & data deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Account & privacy → Delete account in the app. This permanently disables login and anonymises your personal data. You may also request deletion by emailing us.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed; payment secrets are handled by Stripe. Access is role-restricted.

7. Disclaimer

AML SCREEN provides risk indicators only and is not a legal identity-verification service. Screening results should be reviewed by a qualified compliance officer.
